SOME OUTPUTS FROM SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL OPERATION ACTIVITIES:

- Having successfully implemented 15 State-level scientific and technological researches on such fields as fresh water irrigation in the Mekong Delta, acid sulphate soil and salinity soil reclamation, mathematical flood model, water saving irrigation, environmental impacts due to development planning, river bank sliding, sea and estuary dyke engineering, salinity intrusion, erosion and siltation forecast, influence of toxic chemical, etc.
- Having successfully implemented over 40 ministerial level key projects.
- National typical projects: Works for emergency flood discharge to the West Sea, Rach Gia - Ba Hon sea dyke system, West sea dyke (Ca Mau – Bac Lieu), Cau Sap project (Ben Tre province), irrigation project of Lang Thu 7 Canal (Kien Giang), projects implemented under Decisions 99/TTg and 159/TTg.
- International co-operation typical projects: management acid sulphate soil project (MASSP - SIDA), ACIAR project (Australia), DANIDA project (Denmark), etc.
